The company was founded in South Africa on 26 May 1970, at which time it was a wholly owned subsidiary of Balcke-Dnrr GmbH.
On 31 July 2002 became a wholly owned subsidiary of SPX Corporation of the USA.
SPX Corporation with it’s Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina in the USA established in 1911 and is today a Fortune 500 Company, focused on growing high value business throughout the world.
